Kay was laid to rest on Sept. 13, 2007 at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny NJ.

Catherine Havemann died at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, on Sunday,
September 9, 2007. She was 78.
Catherine Ann Head -- everyone called her "Kay" -- was born on August 16, 1929
in Newark NJ to George Head
and Ella Hartung. She had two sisters, Virginia and Janet. Kay lived in
Kearny until she married Barry A. Havemann on August 27, 1952.

They lived in several locations while Barry was in the Navy before they
moved to Pequannock NJ in 1958. Before she retired in 2003, Kay was a
homemaker, but also worked as a cosmetics lab technician. She also was the
treasurer at the family business, HSH Associates.
She is survived by her husband, Barry; her sons Paul of Oak Ridge NJ,
Eric of Queens NY, and Lee of Pequannock NJ; her sister Janet Wysocki of New
Providence; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister,
Virginia.
